Non-Raiding Status Membership Fate offers an alternative means by which to become a part of this guild. Fate's primary goal is to be a progressive raiding guild that provides a fun and fair atmosphere to its members. Fate recognizes that some people may wish to be a part of this guild but cannot or do not wish to raid consistently. These people may be able to join Fate as NRS members. An NRS member is a type of associate member who may be guilded with and enjoy the company of other people in the Fate but is not subject to some of the same privileges and responsibilities of a Full Raiding Member. NRS membership is not meant to be a back door into Fate's raiding operations. This membership is meant to allow more of the people we enjoy seeing in EQ to share our guild with us without being expected to maintain a raiding schedule. In general all individuals considering this form of membership will be expected to honor the spirit of this casual membership status. Listed in the General Guild Charter are some of the specifics of NRS membership.
Since our last news update Fate has wiped out another Seeds of Destruction target for the 1st time. Roughly a week ago we stormed Bloody Kithicor and downed General Bahgresh in 1 shot. Of course he coughed up a few decent prizes, but filling out our Rank 3 spell and tome aresonals was especially nice. Only one SoD event remains unconquered. The Sebilisian council deliberates within the Kaesora Library seemingly safe, but Fate is unstoppable. Their days are numbered.
When Fate isn't out scouring Everquest for new targets it's returning to particularly rewarding sources of gear. Discord Tower is officially on farm status. This past Sunday we nearly cleared the 8 event raid zone in 1 night. Places like Korafax, the Warrens, the Rathe Council Chambers and Kurn's Tower are especially well visited these days. As our fluency with SoD events increases and our raiders soak up new items we are moving ever faster through each farm zone. Simultaneous normal & hard mode raiding may have to find its way into the Fate schedule just to keep us occupied. It is hard to believe but 3 offcial days may soon be too much raid time for SoD content. Not to worry, Underfoot approaches and we turn our sights foward. Fate plans to be at the forefront of Everquest progression in 2010. If you have considered trying something new or are returning from an extended break maybe Fate is the right guild for you. Our Full Member raiding force is currently near capacity, but we are still looking for exceptional canidates to join our ranks. If you are interested in raiding but can't maintain a regular schedule or would just like a well populated guild to call home our NRS member program may fit your needs. Fate welcomes players of all types and seeks to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere where its members can see the entirity of this game. Our 3 day a week official raiding opperations are designed to be both exciting and rewarding. Our offnight raiding activites give hard core raiders and casual members alike an additional chance to experience EQ raid content. When we are not raiding we are out questing, earning AAs and generally having a good time. And with that we leave you with a sample of the treasures we've recently aquired.
